Lastest House Pics - Pretty Much Done
Well, the house is pretty much done. They've got some touch up, minor repairs, and electrical to finish but pretty much OK. We had them put in the cheapest carpet so we could remove it and put in hardwood laminate. Right now, that's going to be on hold until we sell the house in Carson City. Lots of people looking at it, but we haven't been able to sell it yet. Probably going to drop the price to 277,900 and offer to pay 3000.00 toward closing if it will help. Anyway, here's the pics.

Half Moon Bay and Back
We spent the weekend down in Half Moon Bay. Weather was good (foggy in HMB, but sunny and warmer just south of there). We stayed in the Half Moon Bay Inn in old Downtown HMB. The room itself was fine as far as looks and a good bed, etc. But the noise from the bar and kitchen area of the Inn (just to the side and behind the room) was extremely irritating and made it very difficult to sleep. Afraid I can't recommend the place. It got only 2 of 3 concepts correct. Room decor and bed - good. Restaurant - Excellent. Noise - good grief who can sleep around here? Anyway, here are some pictures of the area and from the trip back.

Night Time Raiders!
Had two families of raccoons battling it out for the neighbors apples last night. Sounded like a bunch of horror movie ghouls trying to commit murder and mayhem. Freaky that critters can make so much noise without that much blood. There were either six or seven. It was hard to tell. Two of them were in the locust tree staring at me. The others were all on the fence running for the apple tree when I opened the door. They didn't really want to pose so this is the best shot that I could do. Oh well.
