This post is actually a follow up to the below one. On Sunday, after the 106 mile ride we felt like riding along the ocean. Since Bodega Bay was only a 1/2 hour away we struck out for Highway 1. The weather was beautiful and the food great. We rode around the Bay to the Head, got lunch at the Sandpiper Restaurant, and then rode back to the cars. I found a 1/2 mile dirt trail that paralleled the bay for a ways before looping back. It was fun to be in the dirt on a roadbike.

These are a bunch of pics from last weeks Santa Rosa Wine Century. 106 miles of gorgeous vineyards, redwood covered mountains, and lots, and lots of bikes. Maria, Yvette, Debra, and myself completed the full 106 miles with our tails intact. No shortage of good food, good riding, and great scenery.
