Well, we ran into yet another snag on our home. No pictures, just a description. The main office forgot to fax the electrical plans over to the construction office. So, the house was built without any of the electrical modifications (upgrades) that we had paid for. This includes a 220 volt line that was supposed to run under the concrete pad to the rear of the house. The construction manager looked a little bewildered when he started asking him where all the changes were. He was looking at the plans and saying they weren’t there, and we were telling him they were supposed to be. After going back to the sales office we were able to locate the signed and dated request for plan changes and a receipt for the check we wrote to pay for it. We’re waiting now to see what they plan on doing to fix the problems and to wire the house (drywall is scheduled for Friday so they should have some real fun trying to figure out what to do).
To add to the fun, the house wasn’t supposed to be done until after August. We thought we had some breathing room but the new construction manager is basically flying on the work and now the house is supposed to be done before the end of July!!! This puts some real stress on our selling our Carson home and getting the loans finalized. Double ugh!
