Just a note: I'm going to post this note on all my Italian posts so people understand what's up with the postings. I am basically posting from the last day of our ride working my way back to the first day so everything makes since timeline-wise once all the posts are up. I haven't had time to post everything all at once so they will be a little haphazzard at first.
These are pics of our stay on Elba when we weren't riding. They're mainly of the people on our ride but I did throw in some scenery shots of the island itself. The island was beautiful, warm (sometimes too warm at night!), had a great bar, and a very nice beach. Elba is a great place to visit but has a lot of tourists running around and has a touristy feeling. Lots of yachts and boats in Portoferraio. Napoleon got to spend some time on the island and his fortress residence is still there on the top of the hill above the town.
