Bologna .

Debra and I just got back from something like 16 days touring Italy by foot, train, car, and bike with our friends Yvette, Randy, Betty, and Ken. I haven't had a chance to get all 2000 shots edited, deleted, etc. so here's just a sample of our first and last day in Italy. We arrived by air in Bologna and ended up spending the last night there also. The hotel was located in the old part of the city right next to the main square, lots of shopping with everything from vegetables and fish to Versace and Guess. Bologna was probably my favorite city of all the ones we toured. We ended up eating at the same restaurant multiple times. It was just around the corner from our hotel and had great food and a really fun wait staff. Got to watch Versace open a new store across from us and got rained on pretty good one night. It actually drove us out of the cafe after the rain stared to come under the umbrellas. The waiters provided the women with table clothes to keep the rain off.
