Hiking Above Kirkwood

Debra, Yvette, Maria, and I went on a hike over the Labor Day weekend starting on Highway 88 and heading up to Thunderhead Mountain (I think) above Silver Lake. Fantastic hike with great views, forest, open mountain tops, and a fire. One thing to note, the pic of the air tanker with the helicopter in the same shot. . .that tanker would crash the next day with no survivors. May God watch over their families.
