Here's the pictures from Debra and I on the Death Ride. We only did about 100 miles and 11,000 foot of climbing. We just didn't have enough get up and go, or desire, to complete the last pass. Plus, the weather was going downhill in a hurry. For the last 3.5 miles we were riding in some of the hardest rain I have ever riden in. I was literally spitting out mouthfuls of water when we were on the downhill stretch. About 1 inch of water was on the road and lightening was hitting the trees around us as we descended. Very scarey all around. About 3000 riders participated and 1700 completed all five passes. I guess we'll have to see if we can get in again next year to complete #5!
